The most Instagrammable cafés in Budapest

Budapest was a positive surprise in millions of ways, but especially due to its fabulous café culture! Budapest is reasonably cheap, which made going around several cafes in one day possible for me! So, just to you guys, I spent my day exploring the most Instagram-worthy cafés in the gorgeous city of Budapest!

1.New York Café

New York Café might just be the most famous café/restaurant of all Budapest. You'll sense its history the minute you walk in the door. New York Café is the little black dress of Budapest cafes, no matter how many trendy avocado toast spots open up, New York Café will keep its place in the top! Definitely a place worth stopping for a cafe once in a lifetime!

2. My Little Melbourne Coffee

Melbourne is the forerunner in all things artisan cafe, so just by the name, I knew I was in for a treat! The place is pretty tiny, but serves high quality lattes, small snacks and cold pressed juices! This was also a perfect spot for getting some work done on my laptop for a couple of hours! And oh man it made me miss home in Australia!

3. Butter Brothers

Butter Brothers is home to the most delicious pastries in the whole country, served with fancy cups of cappuccinos. The owners have their own cows and all milk used in the cafe is directly from their own pet cows – pretty groovy hey! Butter Brothers also have some yummy soups and salads for the lunching kind.butter brothers

4. Liberté

Liberté is another historical Budapest spot with a modern twist. The idea of Liberté is to tempt you to spend your entire day there, which makes it perfect for a laptop nomad like myself. Breakfast here is like a wet dream for all of us marble snapping avocado gramming Insta-addicts. Cappuccinos are made with love. Brunch is served in the afternoon. And as the day turns to night, Liberté serves some of the best cocktails in town.

5. Amber's French Bakery

Amberś French Bakery is as French as they come. It's a combination of a café, bakery and a candy store – what more do you need in life? Sure they also serve French croissants and some salty snacks too. But if you end up in Amberś, don't skip the sugary treats!
